This was the flashy guys from the Punk area, Generation X had the more pop-sounding snaps on their songs and they had the Sexiest frontman of all the Punk Groups... the one we've learned to love as Billy Idol!!
Gen X fell apart in 1981 when Billy moved to New York to do his own solo thing, but one of the biggest artists and sex-symbols of the 80's still had a lot of punk in his songs even tho they all had 80's style primarily!!
Anyone else see the resemblanse between this young Billy and David Bowie ???
As a matter of fact, one of Billy's biggest solo hits and his very first, was actually written with Gen x bass player Tony James but was never released as a Gen X song, it became Billy Idols first singel instead... and Billy and the lads sure did Dance an awful lot with themselves...

New Crew !!
We got a new member of the crew in the Garden now, you'll recognise him as Chris"TF"Gill, his approach to music is very different from my own, which is great cuz we can then cover a bigger area of loud electric music lol
Look for another member to arrive anytime soon!!

Clampdown
Here's a clip with one of my favourite songs from The Clash, The Clash is without a doubt one of the best groups thats ever walked the planet, the chemistry these four guys had when they were together can be compared to the one The Beatles had, just so much talent... not long after this clip, the drummer of the band, Topper Headon, was forced out due to Heroin adiction and bad health and that was the beginning of the end for The Clash. The band was never re-united, there was talks and rumors about it after we wen't into a new millenium, but unfortunately, nature wanted it different when frontman Joe Strummer died just 50 years old from a heart attack in Dec 2002... R.I.P. Joe!!!
Now kick back, relax and enjoy this wonderful piece of Rock!!

Uk Subs still kicks...!!
Here's a clip of one of my favourite bands, they are definately on my top5 list, what's gotten me about this band is their great frontman Charlie Harper whos got one helluva voice and their bass-lines are just so damn catchy in just about every song!!
Uk Subs is one of the original '77 bands and they're one of the few thats still in there kickin', probably also one of the most active ones, and this is after mr. Harper has rounded 65(at least its very close, lol)!!
Welcome Here !!
Fresh started Blog right here, folks... got nothing to do that I'm not gonna hang out in the House of Earl ;) just thought I'd get myself a little Garden where I could chat and post a bit about mainly music, and my religious feelings for Punk... not just the music, but I find the whole movement(which IS dead many years ago, btw) very interesting, its a little piece of history. I would even go to the step and call what happened in the late 70's in London national history and not just musical...
I will of course also post a bit about other kinds of music considering I'm very diverse and there's also other stuff happening in life:)
Focus will still mainly be on Earl's house tho, the team and reads over there is in my book first class...
So folks..
Enjoy the time spent here, and I hope ya'll find some of the posts and articles interesting !!
